Research skills - an ability to investigate a topic using books, magazines, the internet, interviews, drawing, photography, video and sound

Observational skills - an ability to notice what others usually miss

Knowledge of the creative process - understanding how to generate and give form to ideas.

Communication skills - an ability to do presentations, listen, negotiate and write reports and pitches

People skills - an ability to get with lots od different kinds of people

Computer skills - knowledge of the programms in your area of graphics plus the relevant handware and production processes

Business skills - including numeracy, especially if you want to run a small business at a profit

Entrepreneurial skills - self belief, determination and an ability to recognize opportunities

The ability to stay calm under pressure

A willingness to work unusual hours

I'm a visual and user interface designer living in Mumbai. India

A lifelong devotee of design and technology, I'm passionate about crafting intuitive, elegant user interfaces and icons. My work is an extension of my insatiable interest in design as it influences the way we interact with technology and the world.

I designed interfaces and icons for desktop and mobile platforms with clients ranging from independent developers to small and large companies.

I really love what I do.
